The present exhibition and performance of bamboo musical instruments is a unique creation of the versatile bamboo musical artists, including the lead Subhasis Sabyasachi, supported by Lavanya Kumar, Janab Sarwar Hussain, Sudip Choudhary, and Jerome Calyster. The bamboo musical instruments will include Bamboo Xylophone, Sitar, Violon, Jiban Veena, Tabla, and Flute, all made of bamboo. The performers are the renowned national musicians and have performed at national and international musical platforms. Subhasis Sabyasachi is a Graded musical instruments artist in All India Radio & ICCR. He has been working with Bamboo as a medium of various music instruments and toys for the last 20 years. After a thorough research he developed multiBamboo instruments. He is deeply concerned about the decline in the awareness of Bamboo as a multi-dimensional commodity of the people. Bamboo as a rural economic power for the people, of the people & by the people as well as strengthening the cultural heritage of our tribal society.
