The Bhopal Literature and Art Festival is a vibrant annual celebration of literature, ideas, arts and creativity. It is held in the heart of Bhopal near the biggest lake.

Over the years, the festival has grown into a significant knowledge platform that champions the joy of continuous reading and lifelong learning. Rooted in India's rich storytelling tradition, BLF explores stories as powerful tools for sharing knowledge, sparking imagination, and conveying values across generations.

Three Major Components of BLF:
• The Knowledge Kumbh: comprising 56 literary/knowledge sessions
• The Tribal Art Camp: for training/exhibiting works of second and third generation tribal artists
• The Student Contests: for promoting education through competitions in various creative fields

To ensure a wholesome and engaging experience, the festival features a diverse range of themes including Environment & Conservation, Defence & Diplomacy, Art & Lifestyle, History & Mythology, Biography, Culture, and Creativity bringing together authors, artists, thinkers, and audiences from across the country.
