Madan Sabnavis has been working with Bank of Baroda as Chief Economist since 2022. Prior to this assignment was Chief Economist with CARE Ratings for 12 years. He has been working for 26 years as a corporate Economist in organizations like erstwhile ICICI Limited, ICICI Bank, L & T, and NCDEX . Is a post graduate in Economics from Delhi School of Economics after graduating in Economics from St Stephen’s college Delhi University. He is on multiple Committees of SEBI and IIBF and served as Chairman/Co-Chairman of committees of IMC and BCCI in the past.
He is the author of over 3000 articles in newspapers including Mint, Financial Express, Business Line, Business Standard, Free Press Journal, Indian Express, Economic Times since 1988. He has authored 7 books:
