Ambreen Zaidi

Introduction

Ambreen Zaidi, an Army Wife, is a noted columnist and an author. She works for War Widows, war orphans & disabled soldiers. She has written books The Warrior Widows (Based on valiant widows of Indian soldiers) & Soldiering On which talks about the remarkable resilience of India's disabled Soldiers. On popular demand both her books have been translated into Hindi. As a columnist, she writes fearlessly in the leading national and international publications on the issues which need immediate attention.  On 21st August 2023, she was awarded by the Honourable President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, for her work. Ambreen is on a mission to help the families of our soldiers killed in action and those who have been disabled while serving the nation, by holding their hearts and hands and helping them lead a life of utmost dignity & respect.
