Omar Faruq Ali is the director of Bal Bhawan School Bhopal. A keen educationist and a mindful leader, he has been managing the school for 29 years ever since he took over in 1995. In his time as a student, he was head boy at The Daly College Indore as well as an enthusiastic sportsman, a passion he continues to pursue today. He represented his school at various national and international game summits in Athletics, Squash and Cricket. He graduated from HR College Mumbai in Business Management, after which he did a short stint with the Telco in Mumbai, followed by taking over Bal Bhawan School Bhopal. Under his guidance and with a capable team the school grew from strength to strength.
He later founded Westwind Kindergarten in 1998 which serves as Bal Bhawan School’s pre-primary wing. He hopes to keep serving in his capacity and ensuring Bal Bhawan remains a forward thinking centre of learning with a place for all.
He also is a student of history a keen golfer and has a passion for the outdoors.
