Anirudha Bhattacharjee is a Distinguished Alumnus Awardee of IIT Kharagpur, India. He is a Business Consultant by profession and a musician cum cinema historian by passion. Author of six very acclaimed books on cinema / music, he is also a twice National Award - Swarn Kamal - winner, for R D Burman: The Man the Music (2011) and Kishore Kumar: The Ultimate Biography (2022) . 

His other books are Gaata Rahe Mera Dil (2015); S D Burman: The Prince-Musician (2018); Basu Chatterji: And middle of the road cinema (2023). 

His latest book is Lata Mangeshkar: My favourites Vol 2 , released in January 2025
