He started his career with legendry Merchant ivory production Hollywood in the film ' In Custody' Mumtaz khan is a Designer who showcased tribal Baag print, chanderi, maheshwari, Daboo and Batik Of madhya pradesh in more than 32 fashion weeks.  He popularised sustainable baag print of MP in fashion and glamour world . He revived traditional royal fashion and Zari zardozi and brought them in trends.
He designs jackets coats sherwani gowns and bridal in sustainable cotton baag print and amazed people.  He brought the trend of cotton khadi natural prints in fashion. He has showcased his cotton khadi n eco friendly collection in many national international  fashion weeks . He showcased his collection in prestigious BOMBAY TIMES FASHION WEEK 2022

Mumtaz khan is a record holder in fashion,  he designed two skirts of thousand - thousand metres fabric in Rajasthan foundation day. 
He designed 300 metres flair lenhga in madhya pradesh foundation day.

His amazing designed of 170 mtr skirt presented in 'India at 70' in glassgow Scotland UK in 2017 in Independence day celebration.
