Dr Neena Shrivastava

Introduction

Dr. Neena Shrivastava, a distinguished Professor of Vocal Music and a Graded Artist of All India Radio, brings a rich legacy as the granddaughter of the renowned poet, Shri Maqsudan Lal Raushan Shamshabadi. She is the recipient of multiple awards including “Best Ghazal Singer” from Jagjit Singh in Delhi for her performance . 
Dr. Shrivastava has showcased her exceptional talent through successful performances of semi classical, Ghazal and Bhajan across the country. She is also the Co-editor, composer, and singer of Ghazal Sangrah "शम ए रौशन"
Dr. Neena has blended her passion for music into the academic realm by taking on the role of a PhD Guide at Barkatullah University, Bhopal, and Raja Mansingh University, Gwalior. She has also made contributions to society through her remarkable research on Music Therapy in mentally retarded children and guidance to a blind student conducting research on Ravindra Jain. Her work extends to innovative approaches such as Music Therapy for the treatment of Nasha Mukti.
Dr. Neena Shrivastava’s work and contributions have made her an influential figure in the realms of art, academia, and therapeutic studies.
