About
Anuj Pakvasa, born in 1948 at Raj Bhavan, Nagpur, to a family rich in culture and heritage, has always been inspired by history and symbols. His grandfather, Mangaldas Pakvasa, served as a governor, while his mother, a freedom fighter and Gandhian, instilled in him a deep love for India’s legacy. His father, an avid stamp collector, introduced him to the fascinating world of princely states, sparking his lifelong interest in their unique coats of arms. These emblems, representing identity and authority, continue to captivate him.
As a philanthropist passionate about preserving India’s heritage, He is honored to share insights into the Indian Coat of Arms. Rooted in the Lion Capital of Ashoka, it symbolizes India’s unity, courage, and truth, reflecting values that resonate across generations.
