Priya Singh is the Co-Founder, Director, and Chief Business Officer of Chalo Mobility, India’s leading bus transport technology company. With over 20 years experience across startups, internet industry, development sector, public-private partnerships, and government policy, Priya is driving meaningful change.
Before co-founding Chalo, she worked with international organisations like UN CARE and PSI and closely collaborated with the Government of Madhya Pradesh. She founded Rangrezza, an initiative to reduce the clothing industry's environmental impact. She played a key role in the core team at CarWale, India’s top automotive portal.
At Chalo, Priya is instrumental in digitising India’s public transport, operational in 65 cities, tracking 30,000 buses, and facilitating 180 million monthly rides.
Her global recognition includes her appointment to the World Economic Forum Global Board of Advisors as a 'New Champion.' A strong advocate for gender inclusivity, she has ensured a zero gender pay gap at Chalo and promotes diversity in decision-making and policy development. Her focus remains on sustainable human and socio-economic development, and building better, more inclusive cities.
In 2021, Priya was named Emerging Women Entrepreneur of the Year, and in 2023, she was featured in Hurun India’s Top 200 Self-Made Entrepreneurs of the Millennia.
