Ajay Bisaria is a corporate strategic advisor and a Distinguished Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation. Earlier, in a career spanning 35 years in the Indian Foreign Service, he served as Indian ambassador in Canada, Pakistan Poland & Lithuania, and was posted at the World Bank in Washington DC, apart from in embassies in Berlin and Moscow. He has also served in the PMO as a key aide to Prime Minister Vajpayee (1999-2004). He has a BA in Economics from St Stephen’s College, Delhi, an MBA from IIM Calcutta and a Masters in public policy from Princeton University. He writes on geopolitics in the media. His first book, Anger Management, on the troubled diplomatic relationship between India and Pakistan, was released in January 2024, to critical and popular acclaim.
