Ms. Megha Parmar is a passionate mountaineer and technical Scuba diver hailing from Sehore district, Madhya Pradesh. She has earned several prestigious accolades, displaying her tryst with mountaineering.
She became the First woman from Madhya Pradesh to climb Mt. Everest on May 22nd, 2019. She has also scaled highest mountains of four other continents.
Ms. Megha has also set a new world record for technical scuba diving by diving to a depth of 147 feet (45 meters) in 27 minutes,at Bay of Bengal, Puducherry and became the first women in the world to achieve it.
Ms. Megha is an inspiring and a reputed individual. She has been facilitated and invited by various esteemed institutions and organisations, viz. University of Delhi,TedxTalks and different state government programs as a motivational speaker and acknowledging her contribution towards the society especially towards women and transgender.
She also appeared on talk shows like DD Madhya Pradesh and other digital platforms like ‘TedxTalks(DikshantSchool).
Since 2019, she is Madhya Pradesh’s Brand Ambassador for the ‘BETI BACHAO BETI PADHAO’ campaign.
