Introduction
He is an IAS officer from the Madhya Pradesh cadre. During his postings in Madhya Pradesh, he has served as Chairman of public sector undertaking, agriculture Production Commissioner, Principal Secretary of many departments in the state.
He was Divisional Commissioner in Bilaspur and Jabalpur divisions.
He has been Collector at Indore, Ratlam, Chhatarpur, Jabalpur and Mandsaur.
He has received the Krishi Kaman Award from the Honourable President of India for two consecutive years for outstanding performance of Madhya Pradesh in agriculture production.
He has also been awarded by the Common Wealth Association for Public Administration and Management CAPAM for his innovative health sector initiatives in Madhya Pradesh, at the biannual conference in Barbados.
He was nominated for Padma Shree also.
He is member of the governing council of the INTACH NEW DELHI and also the Convener INTACH Bhopal Chapter.
