Shalini Mahajan

Introduction

Former member of National Monuments Authority, Govt. of India, she is an architect specializing in heritage conservation and management. She has consulted extensively on cultural heritage and tourism development projects with government, non-profit and multilateral organisations in India, Africa, United Kingdom and Middle East. Having worked with UNESCO, NMA and on World Bank projects, she has deep insights into policy matters related to culture and development. In a personal capacity, she is affiliated with Tibet House New Delhi and is currently editing a book on tenet systems of the Nalanda Buddhist tradition.
