Anita Sarmah is an IRAS officer with over 34 years experience in Railways, Government and Infrastructure Finance. She is an alumnus of the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, University of Syracuse, USA where she was a Fulbright Hubert Humphrey Fellow and a Chevening Gurukul School at the London School of Economics (LSE), UK.
Presently, she is serving as Member, Railway Claims Tribunal at Bhopal.
She is also an accomplished singer of western music and has performed with the Symphony Orchestra of India at the NCPA, Mumbai and the Naval Orchestra as a soloist at New Delhi and Mumbai.
